The idea behind this song is that someone living alone in a mountain cabin in winter finds someone at the door, almost dead from the stormy snow outside. Then they sit at the fireplace to warm up, and while there they fall in love. The cold sounds, many of which are from the venerable Roland Juno-106, are perfect for the musical setting.


I re-sang the whole song for this version using a better mic and more expressive feeling. In the original I used a TAL Vocoder plugin for the harmonies. It was replaced with the Isotope Vocal Synth that I used on 2016's Broader Range. I also added an extended bridge that was not in the original.
